Day 1: Arrival in Tromsø & Arctic Welcome

Arrive at Tromsø Airport and transfer to your boutique hotel. Evening welcome dinner featuring local Arctic cuisine. Brief itinerary overview and gear check. Optional guided sunset walk around the old town.

Full day trekking across Kvaløya Island's dramatic cliffs and coastal trails. Visit the iconic Storfjell mountain for panoramic views. Afternoon coffee at a remote Arctic cabin. Return to Tromsø for aurora hunt.

Is prior mountaineering experience required?

No, but good physical fitness is essential. We provide full crampon and ice axe training on Day 3. The trek involves moderate daily hikes on stable terrain.

What if we don't see the Northern Lights?

Aurora activity is naturally unpredictable, but our guides monitor forecasts closely and position the group in dark-sky zones with clear visibility. Historical success rate is 92% during the season.

Can I extend my trip before or after?

Absolutely. We offer pre-trip Tromsø city tours and post-trip Lofoten Island add-ons. Our concierge team can arrange custom extensions upon booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 60 days before departure. 50% refund at 30-59 days. Non-refundable within 30 days. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
