Do I need prior astronomy experience?+
Not at all! Our expeditions are designed for beginners to intermediate enthusiasts. Dr. Mateo provides clear, jargon-free explanations and hands-on equipment training tailored to your skill level.
What should I pack for desert camping?+
Desert temperatures drop significantly at night (down to -5Β°C/23Β°F). Pack thermal layers, a warm hat, gloves, sturdy hiking boots, and a reusable water bottle. We provide all camping gear, sleeping bags, and heated rest areas.
Is astrophotography equipment provided?+
We provide DSLR tripods, star-tracking mounts, and red-light filters. If you bring your own camera, our guide will help optimize settings for long exposures. Professional editing software licenses are provided for post-trip processing.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Full refund up to 30 days before departure. 50% refund between 15-29 days. Within 14 days, credits can be applied to future trips. We offer free date changes once if booked 60+ days in advance.
