🎨 Print Area & Safety Zones

Curved surfaces require precise layout planning. Use the diagram below as a reference when designing wraps, sleeves, or full-body prints.

Product-Specific Notes

• Cup Wraps/Sleeves: Avoid placing critical graphics near the seam allowance. We recommend centering logos.
• Full Wrap Printing: Continuous patterns must tile seamlessly. Provide a 3mm overlap margin on both ends.
• Lids & Dome Tops: Printing area is limited to the flat top surface. Do not extend graphics to curved edges.
• Bowls: Exterior printing only. Interior is not printable. Keep text away from rim curvature.

✨ Design Best Practices

Optimize your artwork for print production and brand consistency.

• Contrast Matters: Ensure text and logos contrast strongly with background colors for readability.
• Spot Colors (Pantone): Available for orders of 5,000+ units. Specify PMS numbers in your file notes.
• Gradients & Blacks: Use rich black (C:40 M:30 Y:30 K:100) for large dark areas. Avoid pure K:100 for backgrounds.
• Image Quality: Raster images must be 300 DPI at actual size. Upscaling low-res images will result in blurring.
• Transparency: Flatten transparency effects before submission to avoid printing artifacts.

📤 Submission & Approval Process

Follow these steps to streamline your order and reduce turnaround time.

1. Prepare File: Check against specs, outline fonts, add bleed & safe zones.
2. Name Correctly: Use format: BrandName_Product_SKU_Date.ext
3. Upload/Email: Submit via our secure portal or email to artwork@cupsourcing.com
4. Proof Review: Our team sends a digital proof within 24–48 hours.
5. Approval & Production: Once approved, files move to print. Changes after approval incur rework fees.
