What is your typical lead time for new tooling?+
Standard mold/die tooling ranges from 4โ€“8 weeks depending on complexity, cavity count, and finish requirements. We offer expedited 2-week rapid tooling for prototypes and bridge production.
Do you perform mold flow analysis before production?+
Yes. We use advanced CAE simulation to predict fill patterns, warpage, weld lines, and cooling efficiency. This reduces trial-and-error, shortens T1 samples, and ensures optimal gate placement.
What tolerances can you hold consistently?+
Injection molding: ยฑ0.025mm standard, ยฑ0.01mm for critical features. Die casting: ยฑ0.05mm standard, ยฑ0.02mm with secondary machining. Tolerances depend on material shrinkage, part geometry, and production volume.
Can you handle multi-material or overmolding projects?+
Absolutely. We specialize in two-shot molding, insert molding, and soft-touch overmolding. Our multi-platen presses allow simultaneous processing of rigid and elastomeric materials in a single cycle.
