Get Ready for the Ascent

Success in the mountains comes down to preparation. Here's what you need to know before departure.

👟

Essential Gear List

We provide technical climbing equipment, but you'll need broken-in boots, moisture-wicking layers, a 4-season tent, and a sleeping bag rated to -10°C.

💪

Fitness Requirements

Most treks require 3-4 months of cardiovascular training. Hard/expedition climbs need prior high-altitude experience and strength conditioning.

🫁

Altitude Acclimatization

Our itineraries are scientifically paced with acclimatization days. We provide supplemental oxygen, pulse oximeters, and medical support above 4,000m.

📋

Permits & Logistics

We handle all park permits, local guides, porter coordination, and insurance verification so you can focus on the trail.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your mountain expedition.

Do I need prior climbing experience? +

For treks and "Easy/Medium" hikes, no technical experience is required. "Hard" trips benefit from basic hiking fitness, while "Extreme" expeditions require documented alpine climbing experience and a gear check.

What happens if I get altitude sickness? +

We monitor oxygen saturation daily. Our guides are Wilderness First Responder certified. We carry medical kits and have evacuation plans. Descent is always the primary treatment, and we never push unsafe schedules.

Can I customize the itinerary? +

Yes. While our standard routes are optimized for safety and acclimatization, we offer private bookings where you can adjust pace, add rest days, or modify difficulty within the same region.

What is your cancellation policy for mountain trips? +

Full refund up to 60 days before departure. 50% refund at 30-60 days. Due to permit and logistics costs, cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable but can be credited toward future trips.
