CNC Machining FAQ

What file formats do you accept for CNC quotes?
We accept STEP, IGES, and SolidWorks native files. PDF drawings with GD&T are required for final manufacturing. We can also work directly from 3D models without 2D drawings if needed.
What is your standard lead time for CNC prototypes?
Standard prototype turnaround is 5-7 business days for simple parts and 10-14 days for complex 5-axis or exotic material components. Rush orders (48-72 hours) are available for an additional fee.
Do you provide First Article Inspection (FAI) reports?
Yes. Every batch includes a comprehensive FAI report with CMM data, GD&T verification, material certificates, and inspection checklists compliant with AS9102 or customer-specific formats.
Can you machine Inconel or Titanium alloys?
Absolutely. We have specialized tooling, coolant systems, and programmed parameters optimized for high-temperature and hard-to-machine alloys like Inconel 718, Ti-6Al-4V, and Maraging Steel.
