Trip Overview
The Namib Desert stretches over 80,000 km² along the Atlantic coast of southern Africa. For this expedition, we'll journey into the heart of Namib-Naukluft National Park, climbing the legendary Dune 45, exploring the surreal white clay pans of Deadvlei, and navigating the shifting sands of Sossusvlei.
By day, you'll track desert-adapted wildlife and capture the interplay of light on ancient dunes. By night, our expert astrophotography guides will lead workshops under some of the darkest skies classified by the International Dark-Sky Association.
Sossusvlei & Deadvlei
Walk among 100ft dead camelthorn trees surrounded by 80m sand dunes.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek & Transfer
Travel: 6h driveMeet your guide at Windhoek airport. Afternoon briefing, gear check, and welcome dinner. We depart in the evening for the desert lodges under early stars.
Day 2: Dune 45 & Sossusvlei
Travel: 3h driveEarly start to climb Dune 45 before the sun heats the sand. Morning photography session, then transfer to Sossusvlei for the iconic dead tree landscapes.
Day 3: Deadvlei & Camel Trek
Travel: 0hFull day exploring Deadvlei's surreal clay pan. Afternoon camel trek through the dune fields as the landscape turns to gold. Evening astrophotography workshop.
Day 4: Spitzkoppe & Granite Formations
Travel: 2.5h driveJourney to Spitzkoppe, known as the "Matterhorn of Namibia." Hike ancient rock art sites, cliff-side camping, and farewell bush dinner under the stars.
Day 5: Sunrise & Return to Windhoek
Travel: 5h driveFinal sunrise over the dunes. Leisurely breakfast before the scenic drive back. Arrive in Windhoek by early afternoon with memories that will last a lifetime.
