Why Explore Svalbard?

Svalbard, located halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole, is a land of stark contrasts and untamed wilderness. This remote archipelago is one of the few places on Earth where you can walk on glaciers, kayak through ice floes, and observe polar bears, walruses, and Arctic foxes completely free-ranging.

Our 10-day expedition is carefully designed for adventurers who seek authentic Arctic experiences without compromising on safety or comfort. Led by certified polar guides and marine biologists, you'll navigate fjords, land on untouched shores, and camp under the polar twilight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your Arctic journey.

Is prior expedition experience required?
No, but a good level of fitness is essential. You should be comfortable hiking 5-8 km/day over uneven terrain. Our guides provide all necessary safety and equipment training. If you have medical conditions, please disclose them during booking.
How safe is polar bear viewing?
Extremely safe when following polar guidelines. Our expedition operates under strict Norwegian polar bear regulations. Armed polar guides accompany all landings and zodiac excursions. We maintain safe distances (typically 150-300m) and use binoculars/telephoto lenses for observation.
What if the weather cancels a landing?
Arctic weather dictates our itinerary. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reroute to alternative locations or host onboard workshops, documentary screenings, and extra zodiac cruising. Flexibility is part of the expedition experience.
Can I bring my own drone?
Drones are strictly prohibited in Svalbard national parks and wildlife reserves. Personal drone use may jeopardize the entire group's landing permissions. We recommend capturing memories with traditional cameras.
What is the cancellation & refund policy?
Full refund if cancelled 120+ days before departure. 50% refund between 60-119 days. Non-refundable within 60 days. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive expedition travel insurance covering weather & medical evacuation.
