Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about our quality and inspection services.
We comply with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T), ISO 286/2768 (metric tolerances), AS9102 (FAI), ISO 17025 (laboratory competence), and customer-specific standards including AWS D1.1 for welding and Nadcap for special processes.
Yes. We generate Cp, CpK, Pp, and PpK studies using Minitab and custom reporting tools. SPC data is tracked by lot/serial and delivered digitally alongside inspection certificates.
Every material lot is tracked from mill certificate through machining. We perform incoming XRF verification and maintain full chain-of-custody documentation. Heat numbers, lot codes, and supplier certs are archived for 10+ years.
Absolutely. We provide independent 3rd-party inspection, vendor surveillance, and source inspection services for components manufactured elsewhere. We can travel to supplier sites or receive parts for lab verification.
Standard FAI packages are typically completed within 3-5 business days after part receipt. Expedited 24-hour FAI is available for critical path programs with advance scheduling.
