Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our quoting process and manufacturing capabilities.

How long does it take to receive a quote?

+
Standard quotes are delivered within 24 hours of submission. For complex projects requiring detailed engineering analysis, it may take up to 48 hours. Rush quotes are available within 2-4 hours for urgent projects. You'll receive an email confirmation immediately upon submission with a reference number.

What file formats do you accept?

+
We accept all major CAD and document formats including STEP (.step/.stp), IGES (.igs/.iges), STL, PDF, DWG, DXF, Parasolid (.x_t), CATIA (.CATPart), and SolidWorks (.sldprt/.sldasm). Native CAD files are preferred for the most accurate quoting, but 2D drawings in PDF format also work well.

Do you offer free DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews?

+
Yes! Every quote request includes a complimentary DFM analysis. Our engineering team will review your designs and provide suggestions for optimization, cost reduction, and manufacturability improvements. This feedback is included at no additional charge and can help reduce your per-part cost by 15-40%.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

+
We have no minimum order quantity for CNC machining and prototyping services β€” we can produce single parts. For injection molding and die casting, MOQs vary depending on tooling costs and typically start at 500 units. We'll discuss the most cost-effective approach for your specific needs during the quoting process.

Are quotes binding and how long are they valid?

+
Our quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Material prices are locked in at the time of order placement, not quoting. Quotes include all manufacturing, quality inspection, and standard packaging costs. Any custom packaging, special certifications, or additional processes are itemized separately.

Do you sign NDAs and protect intellectual property?

+
Absolutely. We sign NDAs as a standard part of our onboarding process. All submitted files and designs are treated as confidential property of the submitter. Our facility uses secure file management systems, and we never share customer designs with third parties. We're also ITAR registered for defense-related projects.
